How does it work?

IPL works by being absorbed by the melanin in the hair cells. However, there’s also melanin in your skin, and dark skin has much more melanin than light skin does. So, with little contrast between your skin and hair color, the melanin in dark skin also absorbs light energy. This can result in pain, blisters, and even burns if your skin is very dark.

How to use it?
